PMHS3-3-4(DIN) - Cold work tool steel, designed for higher toughness. Used for grinding, turning and milling applications. Working hardness for those tools is 65+ hrc, as for the knives, depending on the knife use and size it can be 65 or less depending on the design. Aside from improved toughness, the alloy has high wear resistance, due to high Vanadium and Molybdenum and other alloying elements.
