CPM 10V(Crucible) - Extremely high wear resistant tool steel. Equivalent of AISI A11 tool steel. Made by several companies. I guess the most popular in knife world is Crucible CPM 10V made by their CPM technology. Phil Wilson uses it extensively, up to 64-65HRC for light use knives. Also made by Latrobe under Duratech A11 name using PM technology and Carpenter Technologies under its AISI name A11, using their MicroMelt® technology, so does Bohler-Uddeholm, making their version - K294 steel, using 3rd gen. PM.
